Our world heritage city of Bath stands in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Remember the many people employed to keep our area clean, safe and environmentally friendly. Praise God for the parks staff, gardeners, refuse workers and street cleaners who work to keep up the standard. Think of people and places in Bath to bless. Bless the streets where you live, your work places and the places where you relax.

  • Safety for all the people keeping our streets clean
  • That the beauty of our city will be maintained well, and appreciated by all

May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels. Psalm 122:7.

Chaplaincy teams support students, patients and staff in universities, Bath College, hospitals, hospice, police, council and schools. Pray that chaplains will seek God’s face and inspiration as they comfort and guide; also for good networking with clergy.

Pray that chaplaincy teams in hospital, university and schools might have opportunity to come alongside people. Pray for new chaplaincy teams.

Our Church Leaders have been rediscovering how to lead churches during our various lockdowns, using new skills to reach their congregations and pastor their people.

  • God’s protection and blessing on each leader and their family and for a good home/work balance
  • More wisdom, discernment and vision as they lead their own churches and join with others to lead the church in Bath
  • God’s kingdom to come. God’s will be done
  • Persecuted church throughout the world that they will not lose hope

Our emergency fire and ambulance crews perform a vital service to our community. They are on call 24 hours a day and have to take risks and face devastating scenes.
The blue flashing lights of fire engines and ambulances in our streets is a 24/7 sight. When you see one, pray for the unseen situation and ask God to help. Pray for the paramedics, ambulance drivers and firefighters; good communications between services; quick thinking, good decision-making; swift response and safety.
