Nexus Methodist Church open their doors on Wednesday evenings to welcome anyone who is in need of a hearty hot meal. It was a hot August evening outside but was even hotter in the busy kitchen when BathCAN Director Joanne went to meet FoodCycle Project Leader Sarah before she welcomed her diners later that evening. An invitation to join us for dinner: talking about food and fellowship ….If you are a Church leader, leader of a Christian group or fellowship or leader of a Christian project or organisation in the city you are welcome to join others this coming Monday evening, 5th September at 7pm at the Forum Cafe next to the Bath Forum for a light meal and fellowship with others. This is an informal time of fellowship and sharing of information. This Monday our guest speaker will be Paul Wagstaff of Compassion UK. We will be serving a light, hot meal. Starting at 9.30 am, from Magdalen Chapel, stop for lunch at St Michael’s (Those who wish for a shorter, more level walk can join the pilgrimage at St Michael’s, Monkton, between Noon and 12.30pm).
and complete the walk by dropping down from the canal into Bath city centre (depending on time and energy, via the restored garden at St John the Evangelist’s Catholic Church and the Bath Mosque) ending with a short prayer of thanksgiving at Bath Abbey, York Street, BA1 1LTP around 5pm.

Genesis Trust Thanksgiving Service at Bath Abbey on Thursday 13 October 2022 at 7.30pm. All welcome! Doors open at 7pm.
The seeds of Genesis Trust were sown 32 years ago and we are immensely grateful for all who have shown compassion and hospitality to serve people in crisis in Bath over these many years. It will be an evening for giving thanks for all the support and provision Genesis Trust has received over these years. We would also like to offer an update on how Genesis Trust is currently supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable people, especially at this time of increasing need, and to share with you some plans for the future. There will be worship will be led by Dave Bilborough and his band.
Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, and we will finish by 9.30pm.
