Time on your hands ?

There are so very many people needing your skills and too many to mention in one communication but let’s just highlight one from Time Bank Plus in Twerton, below;

Admin help and IT Assistance required.
Help is needed in the offices of Time Bank Plus from time to time.  Someone with good admin skills and experience of an office environment to do a few hours of data input. Also a volunteer who is good at computer maintenance, who could help to keep office computers in good order.  To find out how you can help with this opportunity and loads more just pop into the office [86 High Street, Twerton] on a Tuesday (10 – 6) or Wednesday (10 – 4), or call on 01225 442813,  email  timebankplus@gmail.com

Bringing together the theme of Praying & Volunteering is Healing On The Streets (HOTS)Team.    This ministry was started outside the West door of the Abbey in Bath in August 2008 and has continued ever since. A group of Christians from various churches who are lead to follow the words of Jesus; “…these signs shall follow those that believe, they will lay hands on the sick and they (the sick) will recover…”   All of the HOTS team are currently over 70 years old so they are looking for new members.  Seeing the Lord do fantastic things in the lives of people in Bath is not something that should be let go and it would be wonderful to see younger people getting involved. Not all who come for healing are Christians, Let us prayer that our eyes can be opened and we do not loose sight of the work God is already doing on his Streets.

– They are looking for Christians willing to join a regular team in the Abbey Churchyard, ready to pray for those who come needing prayer

– They offer biblical training in praying for the sick for individuals or for church groups

– People who need healing are welcomed to come and meet by the flag that says “HEALING”  on the (south-west) corner of the Abbey between 11.30 and 13.30 on Wednesdays between April and November
