In September BathCAN hosted a Christian Action supper at the Forum Cafe. On a very wet early-September evening we enjoyed some wonderful hot food, Christian fellowship amongst Church and project leaders and a short presentation from Paul Wagstaff, Regional Partnerships Manager at
Compassion UK.
When we are all struggling with so many financial issues here at home it is difficult for us to look beyond our own lives, homes, city or indeed country but Paul’s presentation identified the generosity of Christians in Bath.
There is more to be done and if you are interested in finding out more please visit the website or contact Paul directly. Tel: 07708 321789 www.compassionuk.org
Please join us for Genesis Thanksgiving Service at Bath Abbey on Thursday 13th of October at 7.30pm. The seeds of Genesis Trust were sown 32 years ago. Genesis are immensely grateful for all who have shown compassion and hospitality to serve people in crisis in Bath over these many years.
It will be an evening for giving thanks for all the support and provision Genesis Trust has received over these years. There will also be an update on how Genesis Trust is currently supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable people, especially at this time of increasing need, and to share with you some plans for the future.
Dave Bilbrough, international worship leader and songwriter will be leading us in song and worship. Do you know ‘Abba Father’? That was his first composition. Now, four decades in full-time Christian ministry and numerous albums later, he is recognised as one of Britain’s foremost worship leaders and songwriters.
Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, and we will finish by 9.30pm.
Tickets are free but please book here so we can ensure you have a seat
