SCHOOLS

25,000 youngsters go to school in Bath, at one of 27 primary, seven secondary and five independent schools, Bath College or one of three schools working with vulnerable children – the Link, Three Ways and the Studio School. Pray for teachers and governors; for those who find school difficult; thank God for those who thrive in education. Ask God for His word to be proclaimed and His story to be told.

UNIVERSITIES

Bath has 2 Universities, the University of Bath and Bath Spa University. The former has 9,500 undergraduates, and 2,500 post graduates, with over 2000 staff. Bath Spa University has 6,500 students spread over all their campuses. We also have students from 51 different countries across the world, from all faiths and none. The Chaplaincy Team at the University of Bath comprises chaplains from 9 different denominations from Orthodox through to U.R.C.
So a third of our population in Bath consists of students, many of them from overseas. Pray for students to make friends and integrate with the community; that they will enjoy their studies; for chaplaincy teams as they support students and staff – chaplaincy@bath.ac.uk; for all who work at Bath University or Bath Spa University. Many have suffered disruption during the pandemic.
